The Scenario of Gates and Windows!

Many times…and I personally think, in everyone’s life, at least once a spatter of downfall comes that winds any and every achievement won till that time and send it altogether into a manhole. And we keep looking at its happening standing aside without being able to move (theoretically/ psychologically/ philosophically … take any or all).

Now, while reading this you will think of me as a loser and emotionally challenged person who is writing a pathetic approach towards life. However, let me assure you that I am only writing about an instance that is bound to occur in life, effects that come with its occurrence and how a human reacts to it naturally (a very basic response that a human body gives when its under great deal of stress or shock). The only motive of writing this is to virtually discuss this very common deal of life that is given less precedence to talk or discuss due to its melancholy nature of depicting vulnerability in us. I just wish it to be a subject of reverent talk or at least a greater amount of effort in dealing with it can be put.

Returning to the issue — the DOWNFALL IN LIFE. Yes! So…Yeah it happens. It sure does. no matter what form or what degree… But its bound to happen. Not because its a sort of punishment that God is giving us (which we think …. that we are individually chosen for being ‘His’ shtick and ‘He’ makes our life a joke everyday). Its simple maths here…. ADDITION… SUBTRACTION … MULTIPLICATION …. DIVISION. Its an addition of our non-determination in pursuing a particular thing of our wish; subtraction of our will to move forward after initial setbacks of any sorts; multiplication of the collective effort (or no effort) whatsoever and division of sincerity and honesty towards what ever comes infront.

Yeah it is. Really! There is no “Guru Gyan” in it. Let’s say there is something negative going on in your life or has happened before. If you introspect yourself and the situation thoroughly in the manner of what happened…what could have been done to avoid it…or was it in your hands completely to change the course of situation, etc. , somewhere down the path of this analysis you will definitely agree to me.

I hope I have pretty much established by now that the statistics of life is a sure graph of UP-DOWN-CONSTANT. Now, the question is if situation like this is bound to occur, then what is the “way out” and “highground” from it?

Well …the “way-out” is finding a window in the dearth of doors and “highground” is opening door of the room within. Confused? Where did this scenario of doors and windows came? Well, let me explain. Whenever a shocking or stressed situation occurs in which we feel we have lost everything (at that moment), after staring at our efforts seeping into the gutter…we start seeking out new opportunities or at least new ways to accomplished the task at which we failed and life seems shunted to us at that particular time. This means we look for new ‘DOORS’ to escape from the dark aura of failure and enter into the bright room of success (I always picture it as a room with white walls on 3 sides and glass wall on the remaining 1 side…and sunbeams lighting up the room with exuberance & hope). However, you would have experienced that we tend to seek not one but quite a few alternative doors to feel the warmth of the success we are looking for (even if that success is as difficult as solving the mind-boggling Rubik’s cube or as simple as learning few easy names).

Many of you (I will include myself in this list) would have battled get through this “stuck in darkness situation” and still failing to crack the right entrance gate, even after experimenting not few but thousands doors one after another with the sheer power of will. Well, trust me when I say this…but there is (in fact are many) problematic situation that do not have “doors of exit” in its invisible solution guide. It simply do not have! It has “WINDOW” as a solution. What I mean from window is twisted way or kind of work as a back entrance that might not help you get away from the negativity of the situation but will be feasible enough to reduce its side-effects on your motivation to work or life (if I talk in extreme cases). And definitely, give ways to many opportunities to crack the success door wide open.

I will give you a very famous example of legendary actor Mr.Amitabh Bachchan. He was a very tall, extremely thin man pursuing his acting ambition in the era when middle built man with average height were preferred. Even with a degree in Literature, clear vocal skills and strong connections, he failed constantly to grab a role in any movie because of the same reason….He was too tall…too thin….too amateur to be an actor. Every door to move ahead in career was shut, when he decided to take a different path. He decided and took supporting roles in many mainstream as well as small-budget films. This gave him an exposure of how the industry works. After doing few films, he now had the firm footing in Bollywood and thus, he actively started searching again for main roles and this time around he got it. People within the film fraternity stopped questioning his physique and took him on big mainstream projects as a lead, purely on the basis of his talent. People accepted him because he turned around the path of victory and then played happily with in all his life till this date.

That my friend is the scenario of doors and windows to get out of the downfall whenever it appears in one’s life. Pretty interesting … Isn't it? So now, whenever (or if currently there is any) a life disaster situation occurs …. No matter how worse and how constant, all we have to think is of doors …. and in extreme cases windows to fan out ourselves into a probable yet bright future!
